About Us
Famohs Place Foundation for the Vulnerable is a non-profit organization driven by compassion and purpose. We are committed to empowering vulnerable groups — women, children, widows, and the less privileged — through skill acquisition, healthcare, education, and social welfare programs.
Our initiatives align with five United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Decent Work and Economic Growth. We promote sustainable community growth through collaboration, partnership, and advocacy.
Our focus is to contribute to social sustainability through collaborations, partnerships and sponsorship aimed at improving the lives of the less privileged members of the society.
To add value by improving the standard of living through empowerment initiatives, skill acquisition, basic healthcare services, education and child advocacy.
Through your donations, we spread kindness and support to children and families.

Every great impact begins with a single act of compassion. Here’s how Famohs Place Foundation for the Vulnerable has grown since its founding.
The journey began in 2022 when Lady Imoh Ekpo volunteered with Oriental Energy Resources Limited during the Girl Child Health Education Campaign in Akwa Ibom State. She supported the initiative by teaching hygiene practices and distributing sanitary kits to over 1,000 girls. These early volunteer experiences inspired her to establish the Famohs Place Foundation for the Vulnerable later that same year.
Also in 2022, Lady Imoh volunteered as part of a Community Health Outreach in Mbo LGA, Akwa Ibom State, organized by Oriental Energy Resources Limited. The outreach provided free medical services, antenatal kits, and treated mosquito nets to thousands, strengthening her dedication to community health and welfare.
The Foundation launched the first edition of the Community Food Share in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja - distributing meals and essential supplies to hundreds of children and families during the festive season.
2024 saw expanded activities across states: the 2nd edition of the Community Food Share in Niger State; the 2nd edition of the Girl Child Health Education Outreach in Akwa Ibom (again sponsored by Oriental Energy Resources Limited); and a compassionate visit to Mother Theresa Children’s Home in Abuja with donations and support for the children.
In 2025, the Foundation intends to roll out a scholarship program for school children in Nasarawa State, focused on improving access to education and supporting vulnerable pupils with tuition assistance and learning materials.
